How does barcode/QR code scanning work?
The system generates unique barcodes or QR codes for each asset. You can print these labels and stick them on assets. Use our mobile app or barcode scanner to scan and instantly view asset details, location, maintenance history, and more. This makes asset tracking very fast and accurate.
Can we track asset location and movement?
Yes! Every asset has a location field (building, floor, room, department). When you transfer an asset, the system records the movement with date, time, from/to location, and person responsible. You can view complete movement history and current location of any asset.
How does maintenance scheduling work?
You can set up preventive maintenance schedules (e.g., AC servicing every 3 months). The system automatically generates work orders and sends reminders to maintenance team. You can also raise corrective maintenance requests. All maintenance history is tracked with costs and vendor details.
Does the system calculate depreciation automatically?
Yes! The system supports multiple depreciation methods including Straight Line Method (SLM), Written Down Value (WDV), and custom methods. Depreciation is calculated automatically based on purchase date, cost, useful life, and method. You can generate depreciation reports for any period.
